Welcome to Parkway Orchards! 2022 Season Started!
Hope you enjoy your stay here in the gorgeous and historic Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario.
Welcome to Parkway Orchards.
Please always check the pick-your-own page for daily and most recent updates before planning a trip down to visit us.
Thank you all so very much for your support and we very much look forward to seeing you again!
2022 Covid-19 considerations:
The shop will be closed this year due to Covid-19 but we will operate the pick-your-own only, outside the market, so we will have a harder time opening on rainy days.
Please check the pick your own page for the status of the farm.
I want to go down to pick my own peaches. When is the best time to go? Are there any hotels/motels near the farm?
Thank you
Hello Carolle,
due to the warm spring the Peaches will be very early and look like the first of the season will start this weekend!
So in regards to your question of best times, I think July 31st will probably be an excellent time for the peaches.
for hotels there are hundreds of bed and breakfasts in the area I can link a few here for you.
These are just a few of the them nearby our farm.

Hello Rajib,
due to the early warm weather this year Cherries have finished already and peaches are starting now.
Next year cherries should be more in line with normal timelines so we hope to see you next year.

I am planning to visit your place by August 26-28th 2012.What will be available for pick your own fruit? How should I plan my visit there. We will be 10 people.
Hi Erum,
I am pretty sure that we will have Peaches and Nectarines and probably Apples as well at the end of August.
There is no need for reservations for small groups so as long as you come while we are open which is 10am to 8pm you will be fine.
It would be a good idea to contact us again a week before you come to make sure what is available though.
Best regards,
Eddie.
Thanks alot for your reply.I will contact you a week before coming. My family is visiting from England and very excited to pick peaches.
We will be happy to have you!
Best regards,
Eddie.

Our Farm will be open from 10am to 7pm for the month of September.
The peaches right now are absolutely fantastic. Very large, sweet and juicy!
Hope to see you then.
Best regards,
Eddie.
Hello,
Is there any fruits left for picking this week end.
Thanks
Hi Eshan.
Everything started and finished very early this year so have closed the farm for pick your own for the year.
If you plan to visit the Niagara area in the future we have cherries starting in mid or late June with other fruits following throughout the summer.
We hope to see you in the next season.
Best regards,
Eddie.
Hi there,
I was wondering if there are any fruits available for picking in May? Thanks.
Hi Will,
Thanks for taking an interest in our farm.
Unfortunately, there is nothing for picking in May.
It depends on the weather but I would say the earliest would be our cherries around mid June.
After the cherries we will have in this order, peaches, plums, nectarines, apples, and grapes in the fall.
One thing that many people do enjoy are the beautiful blossoming of the tress in May.
The cherries have lost most of their blossoms but the peach and apple and plum trees are still going strong.
I have uploaded just a couple pictures on our pick-you-own page.
Please feel free to post any other questions any time.
Parkway Orchards,
Eddie Yoo.
I’m wondering if cherry picking open this long weekend June 28-July 1, and what’s the price for cherry? Thank you in advance.
Hi Ariel,
Thanks so much for taking an interest in our farm.
As for the Cherries, yes, they are open for pick your own and will be for another two or three weeks more.
The price of the cherries depend on availability and demand and can change from season to season or during the season.
Eddie.
Hi There,
I was thinking of coming by on the Labour Day long weekend. Do you anticipate peaches still being available to pick?
Is there a charge to enter the farm, or just the cost of the fruit you pick?
Thank you 🙂
Dear Amy,
We should have plenty of peaches until mid September at the very least.
The Peaches are fantastic right now as well!
The peaches are weighed and are $1.00 to $1.50 per pound depending on the amount picked and the time of the year.
There is no cost to enter the farm but we do have a minimum fee per person.
Hope we see you soon!
Eddie.
Are apples available yet for picking?
Hi Virginia,
the apples are just ready for picking right now.
The weather has cooled and is just perfect for picking apples!
We have a Gala ready now and the Red Delicious starting very soon.
The other apples may need another week or two.
Eddie.
Hi,
.we are planning to go in your farm this long weekend, how much is the entrance fee? And if grapes are ready to pick yet? Thanks
Hello Neil,
we are open everyday until the end of October and on weekends after in November depending on the weather.
Unfortunately, some people picked the grapes prematurely and caused major damage and so we had to close the grape picking this year.
We do not have an entrance fee but we do have a minimum picking fee per person.
Minimum varies from group to group.
Eddie.
